Certainty, doubt and advice
In the last few lesson we’ve learned one one hand how to describe the state something has got into, and on the other had, what we intend to do about it.
In this lesson we will learn to moderate our description of the situation by showing how certain we are, or are not, about it. We will also learn how to give advice to somebody else about what to do about a situation.
Structures

-したがほうがいいです
Make a suggestion or give advice

しないほうがいいです。
When used with the -nai form of a verb, ほう can be used to discourage.

暑くなるでしょう。
でしょう can be used to show that what the speaker is saying is an inference from the available information.

-かもしれません。
-かもしれません is used in a similar way to -でしょう, however it shows what the speaker thinks might happen rather than what they think will happen.

きっと-
きっと is used to show that the speaker is quite certain of what they are saying.

たぶん-
たぶん is used to show that the speaker is less certain of their inference, and is often used with でしょう。

もしかしたら-
もしかしたら shows that an outcome is possible, but not necessarily likely. It is often used with -かもしれません。

何か美味しいもの
何か, meaning “something” cannot be modified by an adjective. Instead use this structure.

[Quantity]で-
で can by used with a quantity to show how much of something is needed for the rest of the sentence to happen.
